The Jets travelled to Varces on Sunday, April 10 for the last round of the French pre-national championship (N4).
Our team, already assured of the first place of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes group before playing these last two games against Varces and Voreppe, had at heart to finish this first phase on a good note.
During the first game, our players applied themselves to a valorous team of Varces on the score of 8-4.
The second part of the day, against Voreppe started rather well for our team which quickly took the lead in the score and dug the gap until 4-1. But the Isérois did not give up and scored two goals to come back to 4-3. Tight victory for the Jets.
This first phase ends with 33 points out of 36 possible with 11 wins and one loss. Only the talented team of Marcy will have known how to make doubt our team.
With only 22 goals conceded, the Jets finish the regular season with the best defense of the group.
The Jets are thus qualified for the promotion phase in N3 and for the semi-finals of the French pre national championship.
Back to training this week to prepare for the play-offs.
